The loading of the container has begun. So much hard labor for people that you have never seen.
It started long before this hot June day. Fundraising presentations, letters, e-mails, phone calls ... and it won't end until the container is safely delivered in Rabondo, Kenya.
The volunteers loading the container represent only a few of the people involved in this process that actually started on another mission trip years ago.
Like so many of the worlds people deserving of help, the little village in Kenya are people trying to live a worthwhile existence in dignity. This container will help in that process.
This particular Tuesday when the camera was on, Paula Hicks, Emily Lee and David Croucher were helping Tommy Bickel to load the container.

Rabondo is a village in southwestern Kenya. The most used adjective is "remote." It is 100 miles west of Nairobi. The people are the Luo tribe and are the third largest ethnic group in Kenya (13%).
